My 3 yr old was diagnosed with ADHD and PDD nos. he is on his second medication in 2 months. He is having a very hard time in his 2 preschool programs and I am at my end not sure what else to do. We have had him evaluated twice for a special Ed program but they keep denied him. Not sure where to go or what to try from here. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Good morning Brenda,
do you have a sand box at home for him? and a water table? These materials are great sensory materials ,they are soothing, opened and may be a good fir for him.
Have you read Dibs in Search of Self. I read this book years ago. If you are able to find it you should read it.He is very young and with patience and guidance I am sure he can be helped. If I see or hear of any ideas I will let you know.
he may be frustrated aslo because he is not able to express his needs.

PDD is pervasive developmental disorder. He has a very hyper sensory issues that can cause him to hurt himself or others and not have the emotional response that a typical person should have. He is only able to concentrated for about a minute on a single task.This diagnosis is supported by a childrens developmental specialist, and 2 peditricians, and also a clinical therapist that he see's regularly. He also has a speech and language delay. We have tried the diets with him and that doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
Not sure what else to try.

Many times children are given the wrong diagnosis . It may be that your child's temperament causes him to behave a certain way. I think that you should read up on this topic. Foods can cause some behaviors. What are some behaviors that your son exhibits why he was labeled as having adhd? What is PDD?
Many times boys are labeled because they are not able to stay still because that is their temperament,behavior .I have a parent blog that focuses on infants/toddlers when you get a chance you should take a look.sabreeharlemparents.spot.com
