hi everyone just wondering can any body help. My son is 18 months old and at night he sometime wakes up because his feet and legs seem to bother him. He puts his feet up to the cold wall or looks for us to rub them and his legs, we have to put a little pressure on them while rubbing them otherwise he wont go back to sleep. Has anyone any ideas?

It could be growing pains. My son has been waking up with these pains on and off since he was 2 he is 4 now and the pains seem to be more in his knees, ankles, upper arm area. Its not all the time but I also have to rub wherever hurts to help him feel better. I use vicks vapor rub on his spots that hurt, it seems to help! I also sometimes wrap and ace bandage around the problem area. Your child is small so im unsure if that will be ok for him, but goodluck i hope you find something that works for you!

Hmm, can kids get leg cramp this young? That's the sort of thing I have to do if I wake up with cramp, stretch it out or rub them hard. Maybe mention it to your health visitor or doctor.
