How do I get my 14 month to eat table food?

Does anyone have any suggetions on how to get my 14 month old to eat table food? She'll eat a few bites, then refuse to eat anymore. I know that she can't be full when she stops eating. I've tried a variety of foods and nothing seems to work for her. I always have to finish her meal with gerber 3rd foods. I know she is old enough to be off baby food, but I don't know how to get her to eat more table food. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your comment Jessica. I've heard that a baby won't starve him/herself, but it still makes it hard as a parent when your kid won't eat. I've tried giving her mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, gerber's graduate foods, chicken, etc, but she will only eat 3-4 spoonfuls then she'll be done. The only thing that she really eats well is yogurt, which is usually what she has for breakfast. I want to give her a variety of food so that she'll get all the nutrients that she needs but she refuses to eat.

My baby's doctor told me that a baby won't starve his/herself. What we did was we got all the baby food out of the house so she won't be tempted to eat it. We first gave her mashed potatoes then we went to more solid foods
