the fastest way i have found is to lay them in the crib on top of a blankie or burp rag... something with a familer smell... maybe even one of your shirts that has been worn recently... and if they cry let them for 5 to 10 min... if they are still crying after 10 min. go in and place your hand on them... to help soothe them... for a bit... if they are still crying after a couple of minutes pick them up and calm them... the most important thing is consistancy... they will get used it...
