For example when you tell them no when they ask you for a candy?

Well I've avoided the junk fits by never giving my daughter junk. LOL You can also stay away from the candy isle. If or when he gets upset, pick him up or get down on the floor so he can see your face and explain to him that throwing a fit is not only very mean to you but it won't change anything. Tell him nice behavior gets nice things. When he calms down, thank him and involve him in your shopping so he's focused and feels helpful. Be consistent and never ignore. When you get home, tell him he gets to help make something out of the healthy things he helped you buy.

We usually will take a toy with us (something that we keep just for shopping trips). Or we take snacks with us. Other than that don't plan shopping trips around meal time, or nap time. Those are usually the times you'll have the most tantrums. You could also try and have your baby help you with the shopping, eg. Emma like when we hand her stuff to put in the cart. Keeps her busy lol. Hope this helps

My son throws a tantrum when I put him in the cart. I just try to stay as calm as I can and not give in to what he wants. He will continue to throw the tantrum I'm assuming it's the age (terrible 2s). I just stick to my no and keep on walking his tantrum will pass and hopefully so will this phase.
