My son will not sleep when no one sleeps yet. How can I make him sleep at his right time instead of following ours?

Babies need to be taught to sleep..the earlier the better....You need a rountine and ususally it starts off with a bath...my son is 19mths and this is his routine:
bath...bottle...brush teeth...story time (10-15mintues)...main lights off/night light on and soft music on...cuddles(5 min) and just talk/overview of the day...say our goodnites and walk out the room and my lil one goes to sleep on his own within 5-15 mintues depending on how tired he is...
NOTE: if you havent taught your son to self soothe then getting him to sleep on his own will take longer...the older they are the harder/longer it takes...once you have a routine in place then stick to it..u need to be consistant and firm...if u do the same thing every night then your son will know that bedtime is coming up

it's all about HIS routine .... pick a bedtime routine and stick with it .
my son is 5 and pretty much every night since he was a few months old i have given him a bath read him a book and put him in his bed.
he knows what to expect and expessialy boys thrive on routine
good luck
