I need suggestions for toddler outdoor toys and/or activities.

If you dont have them a bike yet then you should consider a balance bike. My son got his at 3 and still uses it. His balance and coordination has greatly approved. Plus they can grow into these bikes. Check out my blog for a video of him cruising.

Kids don't need alot of expensive toys, my almost 3 year old son loves just running round the backyard doing his own thing, digging in a patch of dirt, playing with worms, drawing with chalk on the concrete or helping weed garden or plant some vegies. simple stuff they love the most

Here's list of things we have in our backyard for my 2 year old toddler
~~Step 2 Front Porch Playhouse- She spends countless hours playing "house" in there with her dolls.
~~ Step 2 Woodland Climber- She's a climber so she enjoys to go rock climbing and then going down the slide... sometimes she likes to pretend that she's in a car, stearing the wheel, other times I'll find her playing under the structure with her dolls...
~~Step 2 Teeter Totter
~~ Turtle Sand Box with lid
~~ Little Tikes Cozy Coupe
~~ Water table
~~ Little Tikes picnic table
an that's it
If I may suggest... Don't buy them new. people post these items on Craigslist for a fraction of the cost and they are in excellent condition most of the time... that's where I shop for al my toddler and infant toys.

I have a 16 month old son. We have a little tykes play gym and that is a big hit. He also has a power wheels four wheeler that he really likes. Other than that he just likes to kick around a soccer ball or play with trucks in the dirt. Sometimes we make a game out of walking around and collecting things... sticks, rocks, leaves, etc.

my boys like trucks and shovels, or anything they can climb on mini jungle gyms and that type of thing, my older son sneaks all his toys outside so pretty much anything will do for them that you will allow them to take out.. hope this is helpful
