is a 5 months old baby allowed to take anti allergy syrup?

my 5 months old sting on has started to eat solids like cerial and banana but i can see some rashes on his face and on his neck which is get really bad since last night.can i give him anti allergy before i go see a doctor my oppointment is on thursday the 29th.plz help.

I don't believe that there is anything to give a child for allergies if the child is under 2 without a doctors approval or prescription. I would not give your child anymore solids until your appointment and if you notice any breathing difficulties then take the child to a hospital ER.

I see I am most likely too late but I believe that Children's Benedryl is okay. My daughter started taking benedryl at about 8 months, it was 2.5ML for her but you should confirm the correct dosage from their doctor because there is no dosage on the bottle for under 6 years old. Also, a little dab of cortisone cream should help, very thin layer.

No in my experience they can't have it until they turn 1 years old and my baby had hay Feaver. If your worried ring the doctors back for an emergency appointment but don't give your baby anything your unsure about.
