Yerterday night my 8 month old daughter started crying very hard about half hour after eating cooked apple+formula milk. I strongly suspected some stomach upset. Cooked apple is lil sour. Could that have spoilt the milk? After about 45 minutes of continuous crying she drank breast milk and soothed herself with my mom and dad. I dont know if boredom was also a reason but doubt that considering the kind of crying.

Apples are known to cause gas in some. I would guess it was the cooked apple. Maybe wait until she is a little older to offer apples again.

Perhaps the sour apple gave her some gas pains.
