Is giving flavored water to my 15 month old ok?

My 15month old still wakes up for a bottle at night. Instead of giving her milk (and after brushing her teeth) I give her flavored water is that just as bad for her teeth as milk?

I'd give plain water instead. Flavored water still contains sugar - and who knows what else! If you get your baby used to plain water now, she'll be more likely to drink it as a toddler. If you start with the flavored sweet drinks, that what she'll expect. Water is always best for middle of the night - if you MUST give your baby something to drink. If your baby is 15 months old and is still waking up for a bottle, you may want to consider nipping it in the bud altogether. Habits are hard to break - trust me! : ) Good luck!

Hi Lauran, flavored water is fine hun, i used to give it to my daughter and my health visitor said its better than juice for her teeth, and i give it to my son (hes 19 months now) but i gave it him from he being about 7-8 months. hope this has helped.
