Issues with Night Terrors, grandma momma, living not on own

My son has what is called night terrors they are like nightmare but the child wont wake up during them. he gotten alittle better so i decided that getting a big boy bed would be nice but he wont sleep in it. and he won't potty train. then i have my grandmother who keeps saying my son my baby things like that and it just pisses me off and i tell her but she don't listen to me. worse is cause we live in her house she wont let me raise him she keeps whining about him crying so much..... How can i fix this?

Part of his problem might be teething. he could be crying a lot because of that. I would check his gums. Some 2yr old aren't ready for a big boy bed and may need his crib. Night terrors are hard to live with I did it for over a year. My son did grow out of it. There's not much you can do since you aren't supposed to wake him up during his episodes. They cry sometimes and children are different to. So you may not have cried a lot as a child but he may. I didn't cry much but my son did for awhile. Just keep trying to tell her in a calm voice without getting too upset she'll figure out you are doing ok and your son is just fine.

There's not much you can do for night terrors. Not sleeping in his own bed will take time. Unfortunatly he may scream. Which is why you put him down early. How old is he? He may not be ready to sleep in a big boy bed. Depedning on his age he may or may not be ready for potty training. Most start around 2 yrs old and boys are a bit harder to train unfortunatly. If he is young there's not much you can do about crying and whining. The only thing I can think of to help make this easier is try and read your son's signs so you try and catch his crying before it happens. Like if you know he's about to cry because he's hungry. I can't say for sure what will help as I've never been in that position. My sister has and she just kept on telling my mom. She did finally listen.
