Massive bloody nose..what could be causing this to happen? Please help!!

At 2am this morning my 4 yr old woke up with a terrible bloody nose. When I got downstairs to his bedroom he was covered in blood from head to toe. Just about 20 min ago he got another bloody nose (not as bad as last night). What could be causing this? He gets bloody noses every once in a while, but last night was by far the worst i've ever seen. It took forever to get it to stop (at least it seemed like forever), I used a whole roll of toilet paper! HELP! It just started bleeding again..idk what to do with this.

That happened to me all the time when I was young. It was from dry sinuses caused by my allergies. My mom took me to the doctor and got my nose dry iced. She did this a couple times and haven't had to many issues since. Talk to your Pediatrician about the bloody noses. They might have some suggestions.

Pinch the bridge of his nose lean him forward and place ice on the bridge over your fingers. If it continues to happen take him to the dr. He could just have really dry sinuses.
