modeling for kids - what to expect???

Everyone tells me my 18 month old son should be a model, even his doctor. I've been told this since he was born. I've actually started to consider it b/c I thought it might be a good way to save some money for college. But I don't know anything about it or where to even start. I've heard of 2 good agencies (Kim Brown and the Campbell Agency), but that's it. I want to know what to expect. Any expenses on my part? How time consuming it is? Anything else? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

We went through the same thing with my son. I had a lot of people warn me about internet schemes, & the internet photo contests are scams, so we finally ended up looking up a local modeling agency that takes in all models (not just adults) and within a month he had his first photo shoot. My advice would be don't go somewhere that you have to pay out of pocket. Our agent takes 20% of whatever the "job" pays. Hope this helps.
