My daughter recently did this too and I just put pants on her that covered the diaper well, so that she would forget about it. After a few days, she gave up and so far so good!

My sister puts underwear on over her son's diapers cuz he takes his diapers off to play with himself since he just found his peepee.

I am potty training my almost 11 month old and it is going great. They don't have to speak in order to understand, they are very smart! This is a sign she is uncomfortable and ready to get it off it sounds like. Try the thick cotton potty training underwear at nap time and make sure to use a protective mattress pad for leaks. Sit her on the potty with a seat adjuster or on a baby potty every time she wakes up in the morning and after every meal and before nap and bedtime. If you create a routine her body will get used to it and so will she. The earlier you start the better success you will have, take it from a mother of 3 :)

My twins loved to do that, so we started using Duct tape on them! :0) We just used scissors to take them off but it was well worth the hassle to avoid having to clean up a mess. :0) We would put Duct Tape all the way around the diaper, avoiding skin, of course.

I mean if no mess is being made don't worry about it. It's most likely just a sensory issue is all.

Ugh just went through this phase....I found a brand of diapers my son has a really hard time getting off and since I have been using them no more diapers off and peeing everywhere!
So shockingly the diapers are Target brand!!!!!! The adhesive is so strong!!!!!!!!

try putting the diaper on backwards thats what i did to my 11 month old because she kept taking hers off and so far it works she just cant reach the straos to undo her diaper

My daughter started doing that right about 19 months, 1st only in the crib and then all the time, Shes 21 months now and the only way i can keep her diaper on (until i can potty train her, but thats a different issue lol) is to make sure she has pants/shorts/diaper cover on at all times. For some reason she wont take those off just the diaper.

I couldn't do anything but watch her and catch her before she did it. I would sneak in right before if I could.

shes not smearing it but she has left little messes in the crib due to it.

My daughter used to do this too. It's definitely the age unfortunately. As long as she isn't smearing poop everywhere (something mine did) I think you're fine.
