many families are nude all the time,,in the privacy of their own home,,,,,, but you might wish to potty train her first

a friend of mine said she turned her heater down in her house so it was kinda chilly. her son got nakey and then came to her and said he was cold. she told him that's why he has clothes - to stay warm. i guess it only took a few days and he kept his clothes one. not sure if it'll work for you. i've never had that - yet :) - so i don't know what would work.

My two year old granddaughter does the same thing, diaper and all. Seems I get her dressed three or four times for bed and waste so many diapers. At least she's learned to put the diapers in the trash instead of on the floor. Even when I get her bath ready (which she loves) when I undress her, she breaks loose and begins to laugh and run around the house saying "I nekked". lol. She just does it in front of family and people she knows well... Course we don't have many strangers visit. From what I remember about my own children, she'll pass through it. Her mom worries more than I do.

My son takes his clothes off all the time so we now have"naked time" for him to cotnrol when. The perk to being naked, it helped him self-potty train by about 21 months.

well, all i can say is that i have a 6 year old son that is in kintegarden and still does this. the minute he gets in the car after school, the socks are gone, the shoes gone and then he asks to take off his pants so he can sit in his underwear. i think he wants to be a nudist when he grows up. in fact, he gets completely naked to go to the bathroom. do you know how odd that is when you are out at a restaurant? good thing we moved from chicago to orlando, eh? would have been awfully cold in chicago running around without shoes and socks!!

Most of the time kids do this because it gets a reaction out of Mom and Dad so let her if it just you guys. Also set the rule that if she wants to be naked when friends are over she has to be in her room and can't participate in the fun unless she has clothes on. It gives her a sence of power and gives her a choice which is what most children want. If it's something that is really bothering you you can always put some of her button up clothes on backward so that she can't take them off. We had to do that with our oldest to keep her winter coat on when going outside with out one was out of the question.

It's a temporary phase. I'd just let it go, let her enjoy her freedom while she's got it. She'll eventually get a sense of modesty and want to wear clothes again. And then she'll want to be naked again. And then she'll want to be modest again. If she's wearing her diaper, she's still modest enough for a 2-year-old. Now, if she were 12, that's a different story...

give her a certain amount of time to be naked and explain it to her so she understand. only during that time can she get naked. if you make it a game then she will probably play along. other then that. let her choose her clothes. if she picks it out and likes it she will want to keep it out. take her shopping to buy her own clothes. even if it means wearing a purple shirt, orange shorts, one green sock and one blue.

dress her in loose clothes or you could try putting on something she won't be able to get off. I use tight fitting pajamas sometimes to keep my son clothed. You could also try something that fastens in the back so she can't undo it to get the outfit off.

My daughter does the same thing, complete with a "naked dance" where she dances around in her diaper (or less if I can't catch her in time) singing "naked naked!". Our solutions so far include dresses and tights, and undershirts that are "just like Mommy's bra". She figures if I'm wearing it, it must be ok.

My daughter does this, she has for the longest time. I usually let her and if we have company I explain to her that no one wants to see her private parts and she has to at least wear her underwear ( I'd rather her be fully dressed) but it's a compromise for me. So far most the people that come and visit laugh it off since they have children of their own who have gone through this stage and it seems girls do it more than boys.

My daughter was doing that too, she's 2 and a half, I got some pretty dresses, (costumes work too) and told her we were going to play dress up, I had her try on all the outfits and since then she keeps her clothes on, once in a blue moon she will take them off, but it's not all the time anymore.

Lol, reminds me of my sister :P I remember my mom telling me to stay in the house so she could go chase my sister who was running down the street naked! I agree with Hellen's idea; maybe get her a tutu dress, or even an apron! Or maybe she will wear a bathing suit; that's almost naked lol. Good luck!

My 17 month old does that to. Though she doesn't stop at that diaper, that come off too. I have found onies work or other one piece outfits (overalls, onies, dress, one piece short or pants outfits) even through they can be a pain it seems to slow my daughter down and some time it is to much work to deal with and takeing up to much play time. I found some dresses that have buttons in the back work even better. I hope that helps even if it is just when you have company. Other then that I let my daughter ran around in a diaper if it is just me and my hubby home with her. Also I found some cheap sticker diapers unstead of the velcrowish ones for when she is in nothing but a diaper.

LOL I so love that phase...its like their clothes are the itchy heaviest thing ever and they cant wait to get them off!

I believe that is age appropriate for that age, that is how my little brother was, he is now 8. You can try maybe letting her wear a big t-shrit or big flowy dress. She porbably likes the sensation of the breeze on her skin lol
