ok since my lil girl was born everyone always pointed out to me that there was something up with her left eye but i'd never noticed but said it to my doc any way and the health nurse they said its nothin to worry about it will go away in its own time, but now she's 23 months old n it seems to be gettin worse as i have even started to notice it now its mainly when she tired and that its hard to describe but its lik you now wen someone is cross eyed that one eye goes in toward there nose well hers goes out toward her ear and will stay lik that until she blinks. is there anything to be worried about? does anyone know what this is? thanks a mill :)

She has a lazy eye thats why you notice it more when shes tired. My son has it to and it gets real bad when hes tired. In some cases it will go away on its own but others need help such as a patch for that eye. Its caused from the muscle in the eyes not being strong enough to control the eye. The patch helps to strengthen it. She will be alright nothing to worry about hun :)

Hi

I have a sister that had the same issue with her eye. Dr gave her glasses and a patch when she was older for a lazy eye. It fixed nothing. She has some things not lined up in the back of her eye.as she is now an adult it cannot be corrected. To this day if you take her photo with the flash on normal her pupil on her good eye turns up red and her pupil on her bad eye comes out green or white. Her son got treated for a lazy eye also turned out not to be the case. Their eyes look the same in a photo. Looking back at baby photos it was only sometimes visable. Try to take a photo with red eye when her eye is turned.

Good look

I too had a lazy eye younger. My parents didn't really do anything about it and it went away on it's own....but I would take her to an optometrist just in case.

Hey, I had "lazy eye" or "squint" when I was young, I didn't have surgery, mine was fixed by the simple use of a patch over the "bad" eye everyday, only takes a few months depending on the severity of it. Talk to an optician or eye specialist, they should be able to help. Remember you always have the right to a second opinion.
Good luck! :-)

it sounds like a loose muscle- sometimes termed 'lazy eye'. This can be corrected through minor surgery (I've had three eye surgeries thus far, mostly for muscle issues). It probably won't go away on it's own, but it's nothing to be seriously worried about. Perhaps chat with an eye doctor, you can get a pediatric one if you choose, and probably get a referal from your pediatrician.
