My daughter has legs pains alot before bed or even in the middle of the night. The docter saids she is fine and some people have said it could be growing pains. Anyone else have kids that go though this. I used to beable to rub them for a min and it would go away but now she needs Tylenol to take the pain away.

Also try a bannana or a little oj....if its cramps in the mussle vs going pains this should help. Also check her shoes to make sure they still fit. My sons feet always grows before the rest of him.

sounds like growing pains my 3 y/o is having them a lot recently heating pad/hot water bottle does wonder for her. I had them a lot as a kid and they got extremely painful sometimes.

Rub rubbing alcohol! My daughter had it too. She had it for years. She is 15 now. But if you put some on her legs and let it dry it should go away.

My 2 yr old went through that recently and I know my son has suffered too.
I posted something a little while ago to see how other mums treat growing pains.
One mum said it could also be shin splints if my daughter had had an active day, but she hasn't had another episode so I haven't been able to try that theory out yet.

i think it's growing pains too. she must be going thorugh some kind of growth spurt. my husband said that when he was a kid, he would get that a lot too.
i'm sure she's ok; maybe get a second opinion if you're not sure.
