my daughter is 3 and waits a few days till she poops so its so big it hurts. today she had a big bowl movement and now the rest of the day said her belly hurts. you think she could have pulled something. or just by coinsidence is not feeling good in her belly?

My oldest son who is 11 now has done this ever since being potty trained at 3. He still does, he sometimes will go a week with out going. One day we were at the pet store and he was on the floor with unbearable stomache/side pain. I thought immediatley it was his appendix. We went to the E.R and they also thought it was his appendix until they did blood tests and xrays. They found his intestines were so badly blocked from not going that thet were impacted causing the pain. Now I have to give him MIRALAX everyday 3 times a day in hopes it will make him regular. I know what you mean when u say a big bowel movement. Everytime my son goes he clogs the toilet and it makes me so angry cause ive been dealing with this for years. You may want to make a doc appt if she is having tummy pains her intestines may be becoming blocked. You should try to get this taken care of sooner then later. GOOD LUCK!
