i got all the bits to keep cupboards and drawers safe but actually only use them when other kids visit. i have one cupboard where i keep plastic cups bowls plates etc and my daughter from around 10months was allowed to go and play in that cupboard, as she had access to one she was happy just playing in there and doesn't go in the others - she is 2 1/2 now. at my mum's theres a similar drawer she can go in. its just about setting boundaries - obviously remove knives and chemicals because no toddler can be 100%reliable. as to climbing that's another story - last month i caught her getting a toys off the top of her wardrobe having climbed on top of the changing table by opening the drawers to use as steps - toddlers are resourceful!! good luck!!

Welcome to the toddlerhood!) that's how they are! As soon as they gain ability to move around- they have to try everything! The best you could do is just secure your area. In baby's runs or even Walmart they have kids security stuff, such as plastick covers for door handles and locks for drawers and cabinets. Also plastic covers for electrical outlets . Try to keep your chairs away from the table, so she can't climb onto them on the table, or tuck them tightly under table. Put away all the things that hangs, such as table runners or sun blinds ropes- those are dangerous for kids health, baby could get tangled in them.
Good luck with your rascal !)
