Thanks everyone! I think my son is going through a growth spurt...I'm just glad to know its not uncommon. And I have to admit that not everything I give my son is healthy he likes the gummy fruit snacks and chips. ALthough thats not all that I give him he does get friut and protein but veggies are hard. When he was little he would eat brussel sprouts and you name he liked it but I think when he became aware that there were more tastier things out there he has nothing to do them. And yes I blame my self for that. Now I know what not to do the next time. But once again thanks everyone.

My 4 year old son is always eating also. He will seat down at breakfast, then a snack. Then he will have lunch and then it seems from then until dinner he is constantly eating or asking for something. I dont know where he puts it. I have been told the same thing that it is a growth spurt by many people, and when I asked my Doctor he said he is fine. I keep thinking if this isnt a growth spurt I dont want to know what he is going to be like when he does go through one!

My son will be 3 in June, and he is constantly hungry. Even after having a substantial breakfast, lunch, or dinner, he will still say that he is hungry. Sometimes I wonder if he may be eating out of boredom or just something to do. I don't know. It definetly could be a growth spurt, I guess!??

I agree, its probably just a growth spurt. Make sure you are giving him snacks with fiber and protein to keep his tummy full longer- something like a cheese stick and raisins, doesn't need to be fancy. If it lasts longer than a week, though, I would call the dr.
