he fights me to put on his underwear than if I win he will pee in them on purpose so he can put a pull up on!! what do I do!! It is driving me nuts!

oh, he might also just be attatched to the thickness of the pull up as opposed to the underwear. You can get training underwear that are thicker than normal underwear so that might help.

let him pick out his own - make it a big deal! Let him know that you are going to the store just so he can pick out big boy underwear. When you get there ooooh and aaah over all the choices and then let him pick which one he wants. That way they'll be HIS underwear that he picked out.

He is being manipulative! I would just get rid of the pull-ups all together! He might be spiteful and go in his underwear a few times, but eventually, if he realizes the pull-ups are not an option, he will stop!

I'd take him to the store and let him pick out brand new underwear that he likes and promises to wear. My son picked out Cars underwear which was the same theme as the pull ups I always bought him. Then tell him that the pull ups are gone. If he pees in his underwear then put dry ones on him. Don't let him win by putting pull ups back on him. He'll realize that the pull ups really are gone and he won't like being wet so he'll stop peeing in the underwear. Good luck.

Maybe take him to the store and let him choose which underwear he would like to wear. They make boxer briefs, boxers, and regular undies for kids, maybe he wants ones like daddy wears?? or maybe he wants a particular character?? I would try that. And praise him when he wears the big boy underwear without soiling them.

find the underwear with his fave characters o nit! i had to do y=that with my son bc pull ups were just like diapers to him and the potty training wasnt working that well. some nights are good, some nights he has accidents we have lots of diff undies for him and he chooses, thinks its fun.

have your tryed explaning to him why he needs to wear underwear. if you want to be a big boy you need to wear big boy underwear. or brib him i dont know i havent gottin that far yet with my daughter but that might work and tell him that if he keeps peeing in his underwear then you will keep putting new pairs on till his out and then he will half to go around with out underwear
