I need help potty training my almost 3.5 year old daughter. she is soooo smart at everything she does...but she will not potty train. i was told dont do it until "they are ready"....but shes still not ready...she goes to the bathroom in her diapers and could care less. she doesnt even tell us so we change her...she will sit in pee or poop for hours and not miss a beat. she is already in preschool...thank God they took her not being potty trained...but this is bordering on ridiculous...she needs to be potty trained....how do i make her care? we have tried getting a new toy if she uses the potty...she has brand new toys sitting on the fireplace for months now...she just doesnt care....HELP..

try taking away the diaper, making her throw a "new" one in the garbage and sitting her on the potty every 1/2 for 2 min until she goes once, make a big big deal about phone everyone letting her tell them how much of a big girl she is!!! after the first pee make her repeat the process every 2 hours! and if your bathroom is up stairs, try having a potty on the main level. hope this helps

She might take to it better if she see you doing it, Sit her down on the potty with her clothes. Then you use the bathroom show her what to do . Maybe even get a potty book that you can read to her . And stick to a shedule that might help to
