I am potty training my 2 1/2 yr old girl and she is doing well. I am concerned about having to take her in the public toilet (so dirty and nasty). Any suggestions?

The easiest solution regarding public toilets is just to hold her over it if she will let you. I dont see the point in buying anything special because I bet you wont get much use out of it and you will have to carry it around all the time when you are out and I think venturing out with toddlers is hard enough as it is!!

You can use a portable seat, you can use toilet paper...whatever. But many of them are really not that bad, just stay away from the places that are horrible. Bottom line, if she has to go she has to go...don't set her up for failure by not letting her go just because you don't like it. She doesn't know any different, just wipe down the seat first.

If she is still using a potty or training seat, you can buy portable seats from Walmart or such stores. They fold up small enough to fit in a diaper bag.

These work well.

My daughter uses them and loves them, they cover the entire toliet seat, even for her hands, they have stickers on the back to make them not slip when she slides on the toliet and off it too.
