I think it sounds like she's not ready yet. I would put her back in diapers and wait a month or 2. Kids do things at their own pace and our stress definitely gets to them. I am dealing with some potty issues too...though mine is already trained & has decided to "un-train" herself! YIKES! But I'm just taking it one day at a time. :-)

My daughter is almost 2 1/2 years old... I highly recommend purchasing the 3 Day Potty Training online (it's I think $25). When we started to potty train, it was sooooo frustrating. I was on my last nerve and purchased it, it took about a week (not 3 days) and it was the best investment I've made for my daughter. She has had maybe 5 accidents since then (June), we didn't mess around with pull-ups, just told her what a big girl she was and that she was no longer wearing diapers and we never put her back in diapers, which is a wonderful thing... except now she has to check out EVERY bathroom:) If you have the time do the "3 Day" method, I recommend it to every mother out there having issues with potty training.

Sounds like she isn't really ready yet.. My 3 1/2 year old just potty trained and it's normal for most kids to train between 3 and 4. I went through that stage with him and it was soooo frustrating. They will let you know when it's time. I put him in big boy underwear and he would do that too. So I started a reward system and it worked for him. Whenever he would pee or poo on the potty he would get a star, and 10 stars got him a toy or a treat. Soon he was rushing to the potty and told me it was time for a star! Within a week he was completely trained and hasn't had any accidents, even wakes up during the night to pee. But he is also a year older, so don't lose hope!

I am in the same boat with my 2.5 year old. He does not want anything to do with the potty and almost never tells us when he has went. Unless he is wearing his big boy pants then he is the same way. He tells us and then wants to be changed. I have tried on and off for 6 months now to train him. I am going to start again today. This time we are going to leave him in his wet underpants and maybe even try the plastic pants so he does not ruing the carpet. All I can think to say is, consistency! That is what I am going to try to do at least!

I am not much help, but thought I'd let you know that I sympathize. My daughter just turned 3 and we are having hard times with potty training. She actually WON'T go in the potty, and if she is wearing big girl panties, will HOLD it (her longest 13 hours!) I'm at a loss, and will talk with her doc. If I get any good advice, I'll pass it on.
