My son went to the bathroom, pee on the shower tonight. He was smiling, had a gleam in his eyes, very proud to show me. I said good job pee pee, next time please use the potty. I told her to pick her battles. He never does this.
My mother freaked out. She was just yelling about the above accident. It was a one time thing. She over reacts to everything.

I would make sure he doesnt hear or see people getting upset because he had an accident. He can get discuraged from that. They are going to happen because hes potty training. You did the right thing, praise him but also let him know where to go next time.
It is anoying sometimes when my mom comes into my parenting, I just overlook it the best I can lol I know where you are comin from!
