Potty Trainning toddler won't go #2 in potty?

My daughter is almost 20 months old...we have just recently started potty trainning she is doing very good at going #1 in the potty, but not #2. She will tell me when she has to go, but when I put her on the potty she says no and will not go. Two minutes later she comes and says 'poop', so we run to the bathroom and the same thing...she will not go on the potty. Any suggestions to help her 'go #2' on the potty?

Mine did the same thing. If she's using the potty at all, I call that progress. It was very frustrating, but she finally started doing both on the potty. Just praise her every time she uses it and she'll be fine. Good luck! (Elmo Potty Time was a good video to help mine along.)
