Toddler won't let new sister touch any toys

How do we get our two and a half year old son not to freak out when his seven month old sister crawls around the playroom floor? When she finds a piece of lego, a toy car, or even one of her own pink toys, he shouts her name loudly and grabs whatever it is out of her hand/mouth.

We encourage him to put his 'special toys' in his room or out of reach, not to grab toys from her and to let her play with her own toys at least, but this usually falls on deaf ears. We would love for her to be able to play with some of the toys he played with when he was a few months old and has had no interest in since, but this smart kid won't hear reasoning when it comes to his sister.

Would love some advice on this one pls :)

I don't really have any helpful advice on this my son is 19 months old and his cousin is about 2 1/2 when we go visit every weekend she does the same thing with him. She says mine! and grabs whatever he is holding regardless if its hers or his and now he is repeating it to us I don't really see an easy fix to the problem besides constantly remind him that whatever your daughter is playing with is hers for the moment he will eventually get it Repeat Repeat I hope things get better!!
