what could be a reason a potty trained 3 1/2 year old would start wetting the bed at night?

My daughter was completely potty trained soon before she turned 3, she was not wetting the bed at night either so it definitely suprised me when I woke up in the morning to find her bed wet. There were a couple changes with schedules for my job and daycare and also me and her dad are not together and havent been for 2 years so on weekends she goes with him if his schedule allows the time i guess you could say. so I didn't know if maybe that could be what was going on but I didn't think it would last this long. She is back to wearing pampers at night just incase of accidents. Any one have any ideas of what could cause it or any advise ? Thanks :)

Hey! Has she started having liquids in the evening? Or has there been a change in her diet? That could be a problem. Is it in every night occurance or does it only happen at specific times. Children are really sensitive and there are a lot of things that can cause them to regress. Just don't make a huge deal about it to her because she will just feel bad and embarrassed and then things will just get worse. I remember when I was pregnant with my second son. We had gotten my older son potty trained. After we had the baby all of the progress we made went completelly out of the window. Until she can stop, you may want to set your alarm for around midnight and have her get up and use the potty just so that she empties her bladder. It worked for us! Good luck!
