when can you stop boiling water ???

hi ye know with babys the way ye have to boil and cool the water before your child can drink it i guess am jus wondering when and what age can i stop boiling the water and just give her water from the tap?? any advise would be great thanks :)

I've never boiled the water. I nursd for 9 mo, then used nursery water with the formula bc we have well water, so she needs the fluoride, but itsmperfectlymsafe to give her tap water. You can get your water tested to be sure its not contaminated or anything... But I believe all that sterilizing bottles and boiling that parents did when I was growing up is not believed to be necessar anymore. I never did it for my daughter (18 months now).

I have a water cooler so I've never boiled water. Even if I ran out of water from the cooler my tap water wouldn't need to be boiled because it's safe to drink. As long as you live in an area with clean drinking water I don't think you need to boil it.
