well my daughter is almost 17 mnth and she barley say any thing when she was a year she use to say lots like kitty mom dad ball doggy diggity please up now she says nothing why? is this bad

don't feel bad, my son was the same way. he used to talk and now he's 3 and still most of what he says is jibber-jabber. it's just a phase some kids go thru
