we tried for 2 years to have a baby. we decided to join foster care. the day we got approved we got a call for 4 siblings. ages 1, 2, 3 and 5. we thought long and hard, and decided to do it. they came in our home and were just what our family needed. they fit so well in our family! so we decided to adopt them. they will be ours at the beggining of next year. they are half hispanic and half white. my problem is, they've been through so much, they act out, alot. i dont know how to react to it sometimes. any advice?

Read "The Connected Child" by Purvis, Cross and Lyons Sunshine. Amazing but totally natural advice on how to deal with children's behaviour. Great read for any parent, not just adoptive parents. Will give you ideas on how to be a better parent and give you control back. Learn all you can about attachment strategies.
