I am about to take a long flight with my 15 month old baby girl. Any suggestions as to how I keep her occupied/quiet/still besides drugging her up on phenergan!? Any other help is appreciated (like what to do about pressure for her ears etc...?

Thanks!

We, too, are about to take a somewhat long flight with our 14 month old son. He's been on a plane twice before, but this will be the longest flight at 6 hours cross country (we've done 1.5 and 4 hour flights previously). We booked an evening flight so he will hopefully fall asleep, bought a seat for him since we have an FAA approved car seat that he can sit in, and bought a portable DVD player and his favorite show on DVD (Jack's Big Music Show from Noggin). We also got a DVD case that can hang from the seat in front of us as if in a car. My suggestion for her ears are to have her drink during take offs and landings which is what I've been told from others and it seems to have worked for us in the past. If she's still using a pacifier, that will probably work as well.

That's what we've done, but if there's anyone else out there that has any other suggestions, I'm certainly open to ANY ideas as our son is VERY active and I'm very worried about him staying in one spot for 6 hours!
