i tried using it but i got confused too. i still need to read the 20 lessons on conceiving thing they've been sending me by email. from what i can gather from my ovulation kit i am fertile right after my period like 1-7 days after then its done for that month. from what i understand it is still possible for someone to have their fertile time when they are just finishing thier period

Well I finally got fed up with the guessing game and went out and got an OPK. According to it I should ovulate within the next 24-36 hours...so here's hoping! Thanks for the feed back, Glenda. I appreciate it. :)

Kate your cycle changes for sooo many reasons. When I got pregnant with my son it was 10 years ago and lets just say I know the exact day I got pregnant because it only happened once. I was having 28 day cycles back then and conceived on the 13th day of my cycle. I just got pregnant again for the first time in almost 10 years with my husband this month my period was on June 28th and I had to have gotten pregnant right after I stopped bleeding because we do not do anything during those few days for obvious reasoning. I had implantation spotting on July 6 and on July 13 I took a pregnancy test which was positive and had blood work confirm on July 15 and I miscarried on July 17 (sorry I have to say that or people congratulate and it is a little bothersome, we just faced our first hump), if I was still on my 28 day cycle I would never have been pregnant enough on the 13th for the test result to be positive. I just wanted to give you some back up when I say yes it does change. It is really confusing especially when things change while you are trying. One thing I have realized over the course of trying with my husband is that having sex only when you think your mucus is showing differently is more frustrating then helpful. Not trying to be discouraging really I have found making a date with my husband every two days even if it is just a quite time cuddle before bed goes a long way. It makes us have to strength to keep going at it, if you haven't noticed all ready it can get pretty draining TTC, especially if it takes a while. I would say if your body is signalling baby making listen to it you may just find yourself pregnant before summer is out :) Remember you body is the one that knows when your egg is ready for fertilization not the internet.
