oh wow, Louise, that's really interesting. I might try that as I had a positive test last week and am sitting on it quietly, waiting for further confirmation, I'm 5 weeks now.

@ Bethany this happend to me three times! In the end they found out that I had a blood disorder called antiphospholipidus and the cure was so simple. All I had to do was take half an aspirin 75mg every day until I was 38 weeks pregnant. This simply thined the blood keeping baby alive and well.

You could still be pregnant. My pregnancies did not show until I was 6 weeks with a test kit. Just try and relax and book an appointment next week at the doctors. By the time you have missed 10 days your cervix will be the size of an orange and easily detected. Good luck

I had a 50 day cycle once, with 2 negative tests then a 'normal' period following. That was 3 mths before I got pregnant with my daughter. With her I was obviously pregnant at 50 days, throwing up and a positive test, so no doubt there.



It's hard, but I would just wait as long as you can stand. If you're pregnant, you'll know it eventually, and if you're not, you'll start to have bleeding, or pain, or both, then off to the Dr for a blood test, scan etc, to make sure there isn't anything stuck in there that needs clearing out, or that might just be taking longer than normal to get going.



Last Oct I got pregnant, took a positive urine test, but started bleeding a bit at 6 weeks, and it went on and on for weeks with no pain, just bleeding dribs and drabs, several scans confirmed it stopped growing at 5mm and never got a heart beat, I had it removed at 11 weeks when it was still 5mm and no heartbeat, had a last scan to confirm the day before. I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms at all, just the hcg positive result.



So, back on the horse for us. I have learned to not say a word until I am sure I have a live one. Put a terrible dampner on everyone I had told's Christmas and Ner Year. I felt bad about that, but was grateful of the comfort everyone gave me.
