i have to boys 8yrs and 5 yrs old.. me and my husband have been trying for a year to get pregnant yet nothing.. i do go to the doctor tomorrow due to some really irregular periods... and also i think im gonna get a referral for an appointment with a fertility dr... just wondering if anyone of u have used fertility drugs and how did they affect u and what are the test that they have to do before u start the drugs..

i actually had some blood work done and turns out i have high levels of testosterone.. so i do have to take fertility drugs.. but i still have to see a specialist they still want to do some other tests on me.. but that will have to wait i guess.. at least til i move in march and get settled in.. but they put me on birth control for 3 months to regulate my periods and then im suppose to start the fertility drugs..

I've not been on for almost three months so I feel a little late in asking, but how did your tests go?



I've never had any fertility drugs, but I've always been to scared to find out if something was wrong with me. When I was 18 it took 6 months to get pregnant and the longest was when I was 24 if took 13 months. I've been pregnant five time and brought home 2 babies. There is a lot of fear that something in me doesn't work right. I just had my IUD taken out a week ago and if it takes long this time I will see a specialist.
