Hello all!
My hubby and I are TTC #2. We have a nine month old daughter. She has been eating solids a few times a day, quite regularly for a few months now. And I have been supplementing with formula during the evening while I work. I still have not got AF back, but I'm pretty sure that I have been ovulating. My doctor did say that it is possible to ovulate without a period. I'm just wondering if there are any tips to conceiving sooner. We want our children quite close together. I started taking BBT in the mornings, but I'm not sure how accurate that is since I get up multiple times a night to nurse my daughter... And hubby and I aren't able to DTD every other day since we work opposite shifts. Either I'm sleeping, or he is, or one of us is at work. Help please! We really want another baby. Thanks in advance!

Since a woman releases an egg 12-16 days before her expected period, it is possible for women to get pregnant without having periods. Women who are not menstruating due to a certain condition (i.e.…low body weight, breastfeeding, perimenopause) risk the chance of ovulating at any point. For those who want to conceive, the lack of periods could make it more difficult to know the timing of ovulation if you are not charting temperature and cervical fluid changes. If you are TTC you should consider reading ‘The Getting Pregnant Plan’ by Michelle Adams from http://aboutgettingpregnant.com. The 200 pages of information contained in the book will not only help you in accurately and swiftly pinpoint your ovulation, boosting your fertility, understanding changes in the female body and so on, but the folks on the website will also guide you through your use of the book until you successfully conceive. It's really amazing that they still maintain communication with me after having bought the book for 7 months. They consistently helped me throughout my pregnancy.

Yes, I started the Clear Blue Easy OPK about two weeks ago or so and haven't got a positive for an LH surge yet. And no, I haven't got my AF (aunt flow/menstrual cycle) yet. I have been charting BBT but I'm not certain if that's accurate at all because I am up at such different times throughout the night and in the morning depending on my work schedule. My daughter has been self weening from the breast is seems though. She had been refusing me, so I'm not sure if it's because she's teething right now, if my milk is changing, or she just prefers the ease of a bottle... So maybe that will bring back AF soon. I wish I knew what to do to up the odds of getting pregnant. It was so easy before I had my daughter. We tried, got pregnant and I miscarried. Then when we were trying not to get pregnant (so my body could heal from the MC), I got pregnant with my daughter right away. So, I was pregnant twice within a two and a half/three month period. We have been trying for a while now, and nothing is happening. I'm starting to wonder if I'm fertile at all...
