I say "new" because I am not necessarily new...but I am a new Mommy to Tucson :) I just moved back to Tucson after being gone for 3 years. My husband is in the Army and we were moved to Fort Hood in 2007. He just started his second tour to Iraq and moved me and our 6 month old son, Devilan Jr, home. It feels amazing to be back, I will tell you that :) I hate Texas haha. It's way to humid for me.

I joined this group in hopes of meeting some Mommies who have kids close in age to my son and who I can become friends with :)

Hi there. I have lived in Tucson for about 3 years now and have a 2 year old son Riely and a soon to be born daughter Eliza.

I am a member of an organization called Tucson Moms (tucsonmoms.com). It is a really great place to meet new moms and find people in your area. Each playgroup is set up around a location and an age range (for example Oro Valley 09, or NW 08). In addition to weekly playgroups, there are also family activities, moms nights outs and great social events. There is also a group specifically designed for military moms and it meets on or near base. You can find more information on the Tucson Mom website (Tucsonmoms.com).

I think its really nice. Plus being part of the organization allows you to get the newsletter with has a ton of great ideas an opportunities.

I love my playgroup and my son and I have made so many awesome friends. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Brianna. My name is Kelly. I have a 16 month old son. I just started a group with my neighbors. We are on facebook: Moms Working Together. We are just starting up, but will be doing weekend and evening playdates as we both work as teachers. So far we have one event planned. We are based in Sahuarita.
