1st Birthday Party Ideas! b/g twins

Help!! I need to know some of your successful 1st birthday party ideas. My main concern is how to coordinate the twins's outfits. I have found so many things for my daughter but there are so few choices for boys. I do not need to stick to a theme per se but I would like there to be a cohesiveness to their clothes and overall 'look' of the party. They were born 10/15.



I was thinking of doing a sock monkey theme but now I'm not so sure.

My B/G twin's bday was this summer. I've ordered 2 tee shirts from www.etsy.com. The front of the tee shirt was a cartoon Monkey's face, and the shirt color for my son was blue and pink for my daughter. The cutest thing is at the back of their tee shirts, was sewn in with their names and "1" to indicate their age. And of course, our theme for their party was "Rainforest". =)

Thanks. They have great stuff. Unfortunately, the party is this weekend. I did find outfits at Etsy.com but crazy 8 is much cheaper.

Hope this helps. My twins bday party was pink and blue and eva wore a pink poka dotted outfit and payton wore a blue shirt with kakis

Thanks for the ideas. I am going w/ the sock monkey theme. I got a SM dress from etsy.com and the woman that made the dress is going to applique the same SM onto a shirt I bought for my son. Check out "Handmaidens Cottage" on etsy.

I have a set of b/g twins as well they turned 1 on June 8th. What we did in terms of outfits was we got those " First birthday" onsies that carters makes, and got my daughter a matching pink skort, and my son a matching blue shorts for their respective onsies. I've seen longsleeve onsies now, that are different colors than the summer ones.

As for the overall theme of our party, for our son we did blue/ sports/ prince, and for our daughter we did pink/princess.

I'm having the same problem. my girls turned 1 on aug 18th but their party is on the 29th. I was gonna go with the imagination movers theme because they LOVE them but I love the ladybug theme.. Were doing it outside at a park where everyone can swim in the river since it will still be really warm.. Guess having two of the same sex is easier to coordinate outfits.
