Hello. I have b/g twins who are going to be a year old June 8th. It's amazing how quickly this first year has gone by, and all that they went through when they were born six weeks early. My son is crawling now, and my daughter is a little behind him but she is catching up nicely.

My twins are 8 months Sophia and Alexander and I love to see when they are close to each other how they hold hands my son see his sister with so much love is amazing, also my son is very insecure he don't like to be alone and my daughter is very independent so I guess that why God send them together to complement each other. They still teething and sometimes they go nuts and me too.
I take lots of photos and video they grow so fast

I did mostly use unisex colors in the begining, but now my husband make fun of me because I like to dress up the kids.  He calls them my little dolls.  :)  They have such cute kids clothes now days, how can you not?

There are some things that Riley is ahead on, the physical things, crawling, walking, but on the other hand, Jocelyn is ahead on her thought processes, on verbal she says mama and dada where he just screeches.  She is a watcher, she'll watch him do things and them figure out a better way to do them.  For example he's started crawling the begining of Oct, she watched him and started crawling the monday before Thanksgiving and was doing as well as he was at 2 months of crawling after 1 1/2 weeks.

Teething.... the first few teeth were not so good, he has less of a pain tolerance than she does.  Actually the past 3 months, not so good.  They would wake up during the night, each at separate times, usually not waking each other up.  Baby orajel, and tylenol, and the frozen chewy rings were life savers.  Now that they each have several teeth it seems to be going a bit easier.  I hear the molars have a tendancy to be quite painful.  But for now, they are mostly sleeping through the night again.

Hello, I also have b/g twins, Riley and Jocelyn and are almost a year old. Wow!! The best advice that I got for them was keep them on the same schedule. If one wakes up, wake the other up. that way you are not to "frazzled" by the different schedules. The next couple of months will be filled with excitement and advances. They go from little "blobs" to rolling, laughing, and crawling babies. It's fun to watch.

Hi Amy

How are you doing?

This stage is mega busy isnt it but lovely, Lili is gobby and into everything and is a nighmare to get dressed and change her nappy and George is so laid back  - love him !

Lili wants to feed herself with a spoon and george uses his hands

Do you find that Riley is a little bit behind Jocelyn ?

Also so important to keep them in the same routine - no messing, I put mine to bed at 6pm every night and dont see them till 5-6am - lovely we get an evening, although do go to bed about 9.30

I have boy/girl twins who are almost one year old too (born 15th February). It's great now they are a bit older as they can entertain themselves and play with eachother at times, so I can have a few minutes to be online. On the other hand, they are liable to crawl off into different directions and want to "help" unload the dishwasher and sort the laundry!

Do those of you with boy/ girl twins dress them in unisex clothes or pink and blue? In the first few months, I dresses them in white and yellow mostly, and sleep suits only, so I didn't have to think about dressing them and it was easy to change them. But now they are older, I like dressing them "girly" and "boy ish".

Oh yes we kept them on the same schedules from day one..  They really are doing so much more now at only 4 months.. my boy is behind my daughter though in every milestone.. do you find that?  I can't help but to compare when we have two..  i know i can't do that when they get older.  How is teething going?  I am dreading going back to the days of no sleep.. now they are both sleeping through the night, 8 hrs a night.
