11 month old twins suddenly crying/moaning in day?

Hi All

I have two gorgeous little girls who have just turned 11 months old. They have always been happy little ladies but the last few weeks they are moaning/crying in the day. It is not all the time so I am just plodding on. They used to just sit and play and watch me do jobs but now they cry for me to pick them up which they have never done before (the worse time is about 4.30 in the afternoon maybe they are bored). They seem to be worse when daddy is home and I am not sure if that is because they know they can get more attention. They also do not want to go in their buggy or the car at the mo!

I am hoping this is just a phase or possibly they are frustrated as they have taken a few steps on their own and just want to walk now. Maybe they are bored, I was putting it down to teething but I cannot see any teethies coming at the moment. They have 4 so far.

Did anyone else find or is finding their twins were/are going through a similar stage? They are also copying each other now aswell!

Thanks

Danielle

Thanks all.

They are back to themselves at the moment yeah smiley girls are back.

Gracie has just cut another two teeth and I suspect this was what was wrong.

Amy yes they are cruising they have been doing that a while now and are starting to walk on their own. I agree with you I think they get frustrated that they cannot walk like mommy and daddy. Kiera walked loads yesterday I do not know what I will do when they run in opposite directions! ha ha

Thanks dX

My twin girls are 11 months also and started going through this stage a few weeks ago. Are your girls cruising/walking/pulling up yet? I noticed that my girls got really fussy when they first learning to cruise and pull up efficiently, they will be walking soon. I notice this seems to happen whenever they are getting ready for a new milestone, the get sick of too much of the same :) I find that an hour walk in the stroller seems to help their mood and mine when they are getting really fussy.

Mine too are getting more clingy the older they get, they are 10 months now. They want to stand on me all the time. I think they are getting frusterated and maybe a little stranger anxiety. Hope it is just a fast phase!!!!

I have found that the older my boys get the more the mimic each other. It could be they are bored, or frustrated. It could just be a phase.
