I'm a stay at home mom to 15 month old twin girls. So when I am with my girls all day I run out of fun things to do. I get bored of the same things and I'm sure they might as well. We go to toddler time and story time at the library. When it's nice outside we play outside. But I need some more fun activities to find to do with both of them. Any suggestions??? I'd love to hear.

Those are some great idea's Carrie. I am so burnt out on the library and all the toys, etc. I want to start working more on their motor skills and give them some new things to explore. I think I will look for that baff jelly and pick up some crayons and big contruction paper or maybe even a easal.

hi, i have just been thinking the same thing over the last few days - my boys are 15months and i dont think they are bored but i want to do some new things with them. so i have thought of so far - today i bought some crayons and let them draw until they started to eat them! i have bought some baff jelly - its crystals that turn the water in the bath to jelly and then it goes back to water in around 10 mins so that will be fun to try i think - i also bought a blow up little pool and i put them in there outside and give them avocado, biscuits, cut up melon etc so they can make a real mess, i am going to get playdough but i know they will just try to eat it all - i read on the net last night to get the day old newspaper and let them rip it up and play with that for a while, to sit them in their highchairs and give them things like cooked peas and pasta ( that will fill in at least 30 mins) anyway i hope i have given you some ideas and will look you up to see if anyone else has come up with some great things that i can do as well - its a long day by yourself at home and although they say babies like the quiet life but i think they are at the age where they are just loving new things!

a local childrens museum is always fun or a trip to the zoo. sometimes the best time is to just sit and play toys, my twin girls will sit for hours and entertain themselves with toys. I do a few outings here and there but dont want to over do the outings because then they expect it and it should be a special fun time. It is also great to find them a friend about their age for play dates. You can also sign up for a local moms group and do activities with them, my moms group is very active and has lots of activities, some are outings, some are arts and crafts, some are just play dates. try meetup.com and find one local to you that has a bunch of great moms that like to get together! you wont be disappointed if you find the right group!!
