How old is your child? Any help kind of depends on how old your child is. If it's the 1st year of school then maybe it's just adjusting to school. If your child is a teen then it may be a whole other array of things.
Has anything changed at home recently? Sometimes kids act out in school if something at home is different they are not liking.
Is your child taking any new medications? My daughter had the anger issue after 2 weeks of taking Advair. Dr. said Advair has no side effects but the anger left when taken off the meds. I know my kid.
Depending on how old your child is, Ask them. They may not even realize their actions.

see if you can tell if he/she feels like they are not getting enough attention. if so try to do things with just him/her. i have a son that has just recently started hitting himself and he says it is cause he wants me. i work full time and have a set of twins and a 10 month old. good luck and God bless.
