Hello! I am trying to find a good side by side stroller for my 18 month old boys. My stroller now just seems so hard to push now that they are bigger. If anyone has a great stroller please let me know!
Thanks!

I like my maclaren twin techno even though my twins are now 2 1/2 years old.

I have 2 yr old boys and I have a maclaren its wonderful. Its light weight and doesn't take up too much space.

i just have a mothercare side by side one. very handy folds flat easy to control and fits through all doorways no problem i can even get on the bus with mine. i used to have the graco quattro tandem duo it was bulky and really heavy to push and also only one of the seats lays flat so was hard when they both fell asleep

My twins are nearly 2 1/2 and we have used the same maclaren since birth. It's easy to push, folds up small and fits through every door way I've ever tried. Good luck

I started with the McLaren twin. It fit thru every door and folds up umbrella style (not too bulky). It does weigh about 30 lbs but that seems to be around the going weight for most doubles. It reclines flat and has a leg rest. Downside was when we went to the park, shore, any unsmooth surface and the sun canopy isn't great. We bit the bullet and got the Bumbleride Indie twin. Kids love it because they sit higher up which also helps on mom's back. It steers one-handed. The basket is bigger than the city mini & valco. Its also a little shorter than the valco which makes it that much more maneuverable in stores. It doesnt fold as compact as the McLaren but its lighter than some of the other doubles. IF I had it to do over again, I would have gone for the Bumbleride first. Not that there is anything wrong with the mclaren but no need for 2 strollers. My kids are now 2 and measure 37" tall and they have plenty of room. When I did my researche I searched youtube for instructionals on all the strollers I was interested in and I am so happy with my choice as are my kids.

I have the baby jogger city classic and I HIGHLY recomment it! It is alittle pricey but worth every penny! It has bike tires on it and it actual spins and turn with literally using one finger! I can go up and down of sidewalks no problem! My boys are 2 1/2 yrs old and weight about 75 together and it moves and turns soo smooth.. Also fits thru every door opening.. Looks like it doesn't..but trust me it does.. I love love love this stroller and I have no problem in going anywhere!!!

We have two - our "cadillac" stroller for hikes on rough terrain is our Bumbleride Indie Twin. It's less than 30 inches across so fits through most doors (i've yet to find one it doesn't). Our shopping/lightweight stroller is the Combi Twin Sport EX. It's also less than 30" wide. I love them both and I do not regret getting a side-by-side. If I had to buy only one I would probably get the Combi because it folds up smaller and is much lighter.

We absolutely love the BOB duallie!! Anyone who has used it when pushing our twins in it always comments on how easy and smooth it is to use. It fits through all standard doorways, and it is super easy to fold up.

I have gone through 13 strollers trying to find the best one. I have 2.5 year old twins and their wieght is 70lbs combined. I finally got the double Valco stroller. It fits through doors and is very sturdy. It is not the easiest to fold down but I fit it in the back of my mini van. It is about $1000 Can$ band new but you can find one on kijiji for alot cheaper and the re-sale value is great. Good luck.

so far (11 months) we've enjoyed our baby jogger city mini as well. have travelled with it as well. only thing is it doesn't fit on my local busses (well, does fit, jsut nobody would be able to get around us). but subways would not be a problem. have only encountered 1 door it doesn't fit through (aside from my front and back and garage back doo, yes that sucks - ha!) store but it does fit through all standard doors (we're just in an older house with odd sized doors).
the baby joggers with the big wheels are apparently much heavier (heard from moms on street, not sales clerk) but if winter weather is a concern it would do much better than the city mini. I actually had to pull bkwrds once but the streets ahdn't been cleared and I was determined to get out of the house.

guess there are pros and cons to all. good luck finding the right one for you.

hi erin, i bought a maclaren twin stroller and it is really easy to push around. sometimes i have to carry one of the twins when they crack it and i have to push it with one hand so its not too bad to control and it fits through every doorway so far and folds down easy and not too big. i got mine off ebay new for $550 when my bubs were 5mnths old and just love it. hope you find one you like jennifer

We love our city mini double too - they do have a city micro double that's 1/2 the cost (smaller but same features basically) - My mom has the micro and really likes it too. I haven't seen too many on our local craigslist but albee baby has the micro for $199

Hi - unsure where you're located, but I bought a Baby Jogger City Mini - its really light and collapses well and I intend to use it until they refuse to be in the pram. It has fit through (so far) 95% of doors which is awesome.
Here is a link to check it out - http://www.babyjogger.com/city_classic_d...

And I bought mine from Banana Baby - here is a link http://bananababy.com.au/index.php?cPath...
and they delivered to me. I just saw the price and I bought mine probably 16 months ago now and it was $200 cheaper then. Good luck - I have no complaints about this pram.
cheers
