At what age did you start giving your baby a blanket to sleep with at night?

The general rule is to not give your child a blanket to sleep with until they're able to roll over.
You'll also want to abstain from using pillows of any kind in their crib until they're a year or so old.

l gave mine blankets from the beginning, too. lt's best if it's a stiff blanket, not a very soft, fluffy one. A stiff one won't lay flat on their face, suffocating them. Mine use light quilts l made, or a thin receiving blanket.

i gave mine blankets since they came home from the hospital...if not then they would be in a sleep sack but that only lasts soo long when they get older and move around all the time... i agree with Destiny 3 months is a good age for blankets, just check in on them n they should be fine....

I gave mine a blanket when they were about 3 months old. I just always kept them in warm pajamas but at 3 months they were able to move around well enough that they did fine having a blanket.
