Hi everyone!

Here is my story and question. I just found out that I'm pregnant with twins! I'm very excited and scared at the same time. I am 8 weeks 2 days pregnant and everything is goin great so far, but I did have a miscarriage a couple months ago so now I always feel like something is going to go wrong! Is this normal? And also my other question is I seriously have a bowel movement 2-5 times a day(tmi) and feel like I'm not gaining enough or the babies aren't eating enough! Anyone else have this problem with multiples?

Thanx!

Its completely normal to feel like something will go wrong. I worried from the second on when I found out we were having twins. I didn't find out it was twins until 20 weeks. I didn't gain much until my last couple weeks... i remember feeling sick a lot and couldn't eat much at one time. Everyones different so maybe you should talk tl your doctor if your not gaining.... or maybe it's to early in your pregnancy too. I didn't start really showing until I was 4 or 5 months along and I'm 5'1.

I don't think you need to be too concerned, your babies might just be screwing with your body. Just be sure to drink enough water, and eat healthy meals. Your doctors will most likely check for heartbeats and growth every few weeks. Twins is high risk, so you'll be watched closely. At 8 weeks you won't necessarily gain any weight yet. I gained maybe a few pounds the first 2 months. After 4-5 months is when i started feeling the discomfort of pregnancy. Good luck!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I was just wondering if you had any different symptoms since you are carrying twins? Did you have a hunch before the ultrasound?
