I have a boy of 5 and twins just turning 2 years old. We will be moving to a new apartment sometime this year. I have the option of creating 2 big rooms or 3 small rooms (for each kid one room).
I would like to know what is recommended if I create 2 rooms. Should the 2 boys share a room, or should the twins share a room. Or should I just let them each have a small room. What is your opinion?

HI ANNETTE, MY NAME IS SHERRELL I HAVE TWIN BABIES TWO BUT I HAD A LIL GURL AND A LIL BOY, WELL MY OPINION IS THAT U SHOULD LET YOUR FIVE YEAR OLD HAVE HIS OWN ROOM AND LET THE TWIN BABIES SHARE ROOMS TOGETHER, BUT WHEN THE TWINS BABIES GET AROUND TEN OR ELEVEN YEARS OLD THATS WHEN U SHOULD LET THEM HAVE THEIR OWN ROOM CAUSE THATS WHEN THEY START DEVELOPING THEIR OWN PERSONALITY FULLY, THATS MY OPINION AND I HOPE U LIKE IT, U HAVE A BLESS DAY.

Hi Annette: I just have girl/boy twins and I have to say that they really like being together in the same room. I will most like keep it that way until they are maybe 6 (they are going to be 5 next month). My opinion would be keep the twins together until they feel ready to split and hopefully by then you will have a bigger place to live but if not I would then let the boys sleep together .

my twins boy/girl are still in the same room, they turn 5 in a few wks, i have no problems with it, my lil girl will be wnting her own space soon do the split id say in a yr or so..

We have a 6 bedroom home and our only children are the 2 year old boy/girl twins. I still have them in the same room. They have a hard time without each other around so I find it to be best to keep them together. I also stay home with them and they are their own playmates so that is a good reason why they really do need each other. I just redid their room from he baby stuff to elmo and they love it. They go in and chatter to him and each other! I love hearing that in the morning:) Good luck!

I had boy/girl twins and only had them in the same room untill they were 6 months old... I also had an 18 month old boy, so i decided to put both the boys in together and have my daughter in her own room. I was living in a three bedroom house at the time so i couldnt give them all their own rooms but if i could of i definatly would have given them all their own rooms...

It's what you feel comfortable with. If I had to make the decision I would probably seperate them all in different rooms...again, that's my opinion. Although twins are very close I see how much more independent they have become having their own rooms now at 2 years old. They did great and I just laugh when they wake up in the morning and they talk to each other from their rooms...they also laugh allot!! Best of luck on your decision.
