My twins were one head up one head down...kept hoping and praying baby A would turn head down...never happened and i had a c-section. It's not so bad, i would just plan for the c-section (get emotionally prepared for it) but hope for a natural...it could happen :D good luck to u

I have boy/girl twins. He was head down and she was head up for a long time but when I went in to deliver they were both head down. Unfortunately, after he was born vaginally, she decided to use all that room to turn over! But, I did not have a c-section. She was delivered feet first 11 minutes after him. Turned out just fine. No problems.

One of my girls was breech my whole last trimester and the other flipped every time I had an ultrasound (which was at least once a week). You never know what could happen .. I totally understand your unhappiness with a c-section but it isn't too bad. Good luck to you :)

My presenting twin was Breech, so I had to have a C-section. It was really not bad! I almost preferred it over Vaginal with twins, because my doctor told me there was always the chance that even if they were both head down, Baby B could turn while pushing baby A out and then I would need to have a C-section anyway. I didn't want to recover from both!!!
I recovered very quickly from my c-section and the scar is so low and little it doesn't bother me.

I have fraternal twin girls, now 1 year old. They were both breech at my last scan before their delivery at 38+2 weeks. I can't really remember now when that was, I guess around 34 weeks. Anyway, they decided at that point it would be a c-section and we were booked in, which I was kind of relieved that the decision had been taken out of my hands! Was a bit more nervous about the birth knowing what I was in for second time around! Plus with twin births (although there are many successful natural ones) you hear of many where twin 1 is delivered naturally, and twin 2 delivered by c-section.

I think it was the day after, I was lying in bed and suddenly there was a lot of wriggling and bouncing around from my girls, and then it all went quiet. I gave a couple of prods to make sure they were still ok! When they were delivered it turned out that twin 2 had turned so there still wouldn't have been any chance of a natural birth anyway. They were a healthy 6lb 4ozs each.

My son (Baby A) was breech from about 26 weeks. At 29 weeks I was told there was very little chance that he would turn. I ended up going into preterm labor and delivering at 32 weeks and he was still breech.

i know what you are going through........my whole pregnancy i wanted a natural birth.... my girls continously turned. then at 32 weeks they were growth restricted and running out of room to move...........i had an emergency c-section at 35weeks as i went into labour at a friends wedding which i wasnt expecting...both girls are happy and healthy and i got over the idea of c-sect........it was basically i said i would do whatever was best for them....they say they can turn up to 36 weeks if they have room, so you never know they may still turn, but depending on your ob if one is breech and the other isnt they may still suggest c-sect......... hope all goes well, look forward to seeing pics of your babies
