Hi, I went for my anatomy scan today with the peri and they could no longer see the dividing membrane with the twins. Can it disappear or am I worrying over nothing? First ultrasound we had it was there, now they said they couldnt . Please help!

Thanks girls! They actually called me the day after and I was diagnosed with twin twin transfusion syndrome. So far I'm on BP medicine because the bigger twin has higher BP. I go back to cincinatti this week and they will decide whether or not to operate through laser therapy. When i had my ultrasound this past week they did find it the littler twin was laying on it.

A friend of mine had hers actually break - a believe it's called mono mono twins - she had to be VERY carefully watched at the end of her pregnancy, but her boys are doing great!!!

I don't know whether it can disappear or not but I can say that they always had a very hard time finding it during my ultrasounds. They kept having to call their supervisor in for help, so after that I just made all my appointments with her.
