I'm 12 weeks pregnant but I look like I'm 5 months pregnant.. I was having complications at 5 weeks there was bleeding and they thought I was going to miscarry but I didn't. I'm so big for 3 months I just had my prenatal and my doctor told me she was concerned about how big I was for how far along I am.. what could the reason be for being so big?

There could be several reasons. Are you and the drs positive you are only 12 weeks along? Have they done an ultrasound to make sure it's only twins and there's not a third one hidden in there? Are you diabetic? Any other health issues? Have them do a complete blood work up and physical if necessary. Have your eating habits changed drastically? If your dr does the 3 or 4d ultrasounds see if they will do one for you and that will give them and you all a better idea of how they are developing.

When I was pregnant with my girls I pretty much showed from day one, I only gained a total of 50lbs for the entire pregnancy which is on track as it's recommended that you should only gain 25lbs per baby. The weight I did gain was totally all baby weight and it was all gone once I delivered. I was however a high risk pregnancy as I found out on my 40th bday that I was finally pregnant ( naturally). I also have a rare and potentially fatal blood disorder. Due to all of that I was assigned to a high risk OB/GYN and watched very closely. I did have A LOT of false labor and pretty much put on bed rest from the beginning. My girls did come 3 weeks early but they were health~no NICU time and weighed 5lbs each.

Best advice I guess I can give is ask questions. If you feel they should do any testing or more ultrasounds express your opinion. Good Luck 😊😊
