Double Stroller Advice Needed

i have the same stroller, i LOVE it. My boys are 16 months and still love riding in it.  It was a bit pricey but worth it.

I also have the Graco Duo Glide Double stroller. I think this stroller is the best value for the money. The tandem stroller is so much nicer in crowds and stores because the side-by-sides don't fit in too many indoor spaces. It actually folds up pretty flat which makes it easy to have in the back with all the groceries :)

I am also searching for a double stroller for my 8 month old twin boys.  I have been looking at jogging strollers, hoping to use it for walking inside the mall during the winter time (I know they are made wide so I probably won't be able to navigate it inside the stores or through isles) and going onto gravel paths in the park.  You mentioned about your double jogging stroller that can be hooked up behind a bike.  I was wondering if you could let me know the brand name of the stroller.

we love our mountain buggy, it fits through a standard doorway and is so light to push around, I prefer it over our single pram for our 3 yr old. It is a bit heavy to lift into the car but will sit fairly flat once it is in. The best thing to do is choose a few that you like and see which one fits in your car the best, we have a land rover discovery and we can't fit to much more in the boot other than the double stroller and small pram (although we can stack things up to the roof which gives us more flexibility) Good luck!!

I have a Graco Quattro Tour Duo that I totally love! It is by far the easiest to open and close at least out of all the ones we looked at and it has a lot of storage underneath. It also has cup holders and a little storage pouch. It is big though, but all double strollers are. We also have two umbrella strollers that we can use for short trips or if we ever take the girls anywhere by themselves. We like the tandem stroller better than a side by side because it fits through doorways better. Also look for special deals on-line because we saved about $80 that way and got free shipping. good luck the only ones that i could ever find weigh a ton are big and bulky but it does the job after you wear yourself out loading and unloading it

I vote for the double umbrella stroller by Jeep. We live in the country, and it worked as well on a dirt road, as it did at the mall.

Tandem are nice. A little bulky but no more or less than any for two. Side by side don't always fit into all doorways but makes it easy to look and care for both at the same time, same level.

I have a Graco Duo Glide Double Stroller. It came with one carrier/car seat, but I bought a matching one. It is light weight, stears easily (duo glide). It's a front/back one which I like better than the side-side one since it's not so wide.

I LOVE.... my COMBI side by side double stroller! Its very light it folds in half you can carry it on your sholder love it!!! its very $$$$ but well worth it! My twins are now 5 just got back from Disneyland they still fit in it!!! The front to back strollers are very hard to turn when they get bigger! You always have to have the lightest one in front! With the Combi you can turn in a circle with one hand : ) LOVE IT!!!!!

I have the twin umbrella stroller from toys r us too and I LOVE it! It's small lightweight and easy to get around with! Fits through doors just fine too! Also it's only about $80 :D

twin stollers are good, but i find if u get one front and back instead of side by side, u can actually get ure shopping done, because not many ppl notice there twins and stop u, which gets very annoying, LOL

I have a double umbrella stroller made by Kolcraft, which I like for strolling around for short periods of time, as it's a pain to walk behind if you have long legs (which I do!). I also have a Graco DuoGlide tandem stroller, which I absolutely love. It was great when the boys were still in their infant seats, as they snapped right into the stroller (BOTH of them!), and now that they're bigger it still works great! The biggest problem we have is that it's long, but all tandem strollers are and it's just unavoidable!

i was really happy with my double mountain buggy pram, the best money we ever spent!! i did try the phil and teds inline with they were 2 and half but it was horrible and one time i took arabella out of the front with preston still in the back and the whole pram literally flipped over... poor preston!! mountain buggy all the way!!

I love my Combi, but it is really good for indoors, not a lot of rugged out door walking. It fits through a door weigh and is fairly light. I use my jogging stroller for the boardwalks and parks.

I have a jogger that I love. I got it from my step-mom who used it for her kids and just bought a new one of the same model for her three year old and five year old.
It's so durable. So lightweight! You can fold it down with one hand, pick it up with one hand, and it can fit in the trunk of a car; a large trunk... and it'll take up the whole thing :P but it's alot better than most. The only problem is that it doesn't fit through all doorways.
But you can pretty much off road in it though lol. I've also used it as a wheel barrow before. :P
But basically, they are awesome and relatively inexpensive, especially if you find them used on craigs list or something. Mine was bought online

Just google "instep safari double jogging stroller" and you'll come up with everything you need. I also bought the rain and mosquito cover. I want to buy the car seat bar too.

I have a Zooper Tango and a Kolcroft Contours Tandem. I like them both, but they aren't particularly light. Then again, I don't know of any twin strollers that are!

I have a maclaren twin pram and we bought it because it was light weight and it doesn't take up much room. My boys are now 1 year old and I've found it really good.
